Our Story
Impact Physiotherapy & Performance started in Fergus, Ontario in 2008 by our lead Physiotherapist Ronda Schnurr-Smith. Through hard work and dedication to her craft, Ronda was able to open a second clinic in Arthur, Ontario in 2010. The clinic started with two half days a week. However, the Arthur community responded so positively to Ronda’s services, she tripled her clientele within 6 short months. With the uncertainty of COVID-19, our Fergus location has closed but Ronda still operates a strong small business in the heart of Arthur, Ontario
Ronda was raised on a cattle farm outside of Mildmay, Ontario and has always enjoyed rural life. Even before she graduated with her physiotherapy degree, she knew that she wanted to live, work, and raise a family in a place similar to where she grew up. With Arthur’s good natured patrons and their strong sense of community, it was here where Ronda decided to set up shop. Ronda is very active in the community, helping out with the Christmas Festival, Arthur 150 market and other community events.
