Employment Positions:

Full-time or Part-time Registered Physiotherapist

Location: Fergus, Ontario

Impact Physiotherapy and Performance is a growing, quality-driven physiotherapy clinic located in Fergus, Ontario (just north of Guelph) that has served the residents of the Centre Wellington community and surrounding area since 2005. We have a satellite clinic located in Arthur, Ontario (approximately 15 minutes north of Fergus on Highway 6). We pride ourselves for the strong relationship that we have established with the family physicians and specialists in our medical community, and have developed a reputation for delivering a high level of client-focused care, both in orthopedics and sports physiotherapy. We offer 1-hour assessments for all of our clients and only book 2 clients/hour (30-minute treatment sessions.) We service the private sector (self-pay/extended health benefits), Automobile Insurance, WSIB, Veteran.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution
  • In Good Standing and Licensed by (or eligible to be licensed by) the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
  • Eligible for membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and carry personal Malpractice Errors and Omissions Liability insurance
  • Current CPR and First Aid
  • Training in Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT) would be an asset (but not required)
  • Strong interest in manual therapy and exercise prescription
  • Self-motivated and demonstrate ability to manage a busy and varied caseload
  • Excellent communication, documentation and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team
  • New graduates are welcome to apply – mentorship available

Hours of Work:

  • Full-time position (36 hours/week), part-time position (20-24 hours/week), available Monday to Friday
  • Physiotherapist must be willing to work day and possibly some evening hours

Part-time pelvic health physiotherapist OR full-time physiotherapist (pelvic health/orthopedic mixed caseload)

Location: Fergus, Ontario

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Registered physiotherapist in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
  • Self-motivated and demonstrate ability to manage a busy and varied caseload
  • Excellent communication, documentation and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team
  • Rostered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario to perform internal evaluations
  • Completed level 1 and level 2 pelvic health courses as a minimum or an interest in completion in the near future.
  • Previous experience in treating patients with incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain, and pregnancy is preferred but not required.
  • New graduates are welcome to apply
